October 11, 2023

The project coordinator, Lidia Shynkaruk, Doctor of Economics, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Professor of the Production and Investment Management Department, discussed the features and prospects of the project "EU Practices of Social and Economic Inclusion" with representatives of the "National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine" (EU project).

On October 10, 2023, within the framework of the EU Program in the field of education, professional development, youth and sport (2021 – 2027) of the All-Ukrainian #ERASMUSDAYS 2023, a meeting of project coordinators of the EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Program was held for the winners of the EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet projects - winners of 2023. The winner is the project from NUBiP of Ukraine "EU Practices of Social and Economic Inclusion", prepared by a team led by Lidia Shynkaruk.

During the event, moderated by Zhanna Talanova, Deputy Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, Manager for Analytical Work and the National Team of Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE team) and Petro Kraynik, Jean Monnet Project Manager, the significance and features of the project implementation for the university community and Ukraine were discussed. The features of ensuring the sustainability and impact of project results are determined; internal strategic documents and regulations; record keeping; project funds management: receiving and crediting funds to the organization's account, documents for the State Treasury Service, making payments, paying salaries, business trips, drawing up contracts and documents; documentation and reporting in accordance with national legislation within the rules of the EU Erasmus+ Program.

The organizers of ERASMUS DAYS were mainly supported by the argumentation of the need to expand knowledge about social inclusion, which ensures human life in conditions of disabilities and is necessary for the conditions of hostilities in Ukraine since social inclusion is an essential condition for the development of various spheres of society, such as education, labour market, access to the authentic sources of history and culture of Ukrainians, etc. The basis for the development of the social sphere, including inclusion, is economic inclusion, which ensures a balanced, full-fledged development of the country's economy. Thus, this project is a response to the requests of our previous projects (students, scientists, business representatives) to meet their needs. It is characterized by acute relevance and effective continuation of the fundamental project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the inclusiveness of the agri-food sector of Ukraine.

The European path of Ukraine requires specific changes in society and the relevant state policy, which will allow the formation of a full-fledged society with a developed economy. Today's needs of Ukraine are both economic and social. Economic conditions include the need for balanced economic development without significant imbalances that cause negative consequences both in the economy and society. The EU's experience in this regard is invaluable, as it considers policies at the European Union's level to equalize economic imbalances. This project aims to solve the problem of insufficient social and economic development inclusion in Ukraine.

Sincere gratitude to Zhanna Talanova, Petro Kraynik, National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine (EU project) for organizing a meaningful meeting and helping and advising in writing and high-quality implementation of projects.
