PARTICIPATION OF THE LABORATORY OF BIOECONOMICS, NULES OF UKRAINE, IN THE WORLD BIOECONOMY FORUM ROUNDTABLE

   World Bioeconomy Forum Roundtable Global Leaders and Financial World with the topic “Bio-based investment – it takes three to tango” was held on 18 May 2021. The speakers were: A.J. (Sandy) Marshall - Executive Director Bioindustrial Innovation Canada, Jorio Veiga - Secretary of State for Economic Development, Science, Technology and Innovation Government of Amazonas, Philippe Mengal - Executive Director, Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking, Dr. Sergey Malkov - President of Association of the Specialists of the Pulp and Paper industry (ASPPI) and moderator Michael Nettersheim - Founding Partner, European Circular Bioeconomy Fund. There were also hosts Mark Rushton - Co-founder World Bioeconomy Forum and Jukka Kantola - Founder World Bioeconomy Forum. The next questions were discussed: How do the triangle public – private - institutes works to facilitate investment enter into circular bioeconomy? What are the drivers? What are the obstacles any success stories? What are currently the fastest growing sectors? The Roundtable considered the roles of private public institutes to facilitate investments to circular bioeconomy.
