Modernity and priorities: open day at the faculty of humanities and pedagogy
The events of our time on the territory of our state hurt every Ukrainian and spoil our dreams of the future. The Ukrainian people are trying to stand up and win, because we don't see another tomorrow. Therefore, even during such dramatic events, we try to do everything possible to ensure that our younger generation can get an education and develop.
Open day at the faculty of humanities and pedagogy was held in a remote format May 5, 2022 immediately after the end of the university-wide event, where applicants were welcomed by the rector of the University Stanislav Nikolaenko.
More than 300 prospective humanitarian applicants have heard that even during martial law, the NULES of Ukraine continues the educational process, and the entire teaching legion is doing their best to make distance learning affordable and high-quality.
Dean of thefaculty of humanities and pedagogy Inna Savytska in her welcoming speech, she informed the guests about the opportunities and prospects of studying at her native faculty. Each specialty was vividly presented, their advantages and features were revealed and demonstrated in detail. Faculty of humanities and pedagogy over the past 7 years, has been able to harmoniously combine a wide range of Bachelor's degrees. Here both"Philology (first English / German)", and "Social work", and "Professional education" with "Psychology", "Journalism" with "International relations". A specialty "Physical culture and sports" in general, in 2022, provides ample opportunities for teaching children who did not have time or failed to pass the national multi-subject test (NMT).
The faculty is also interesting for its Master's programs, including: "Philology (first English / German)", "Information and communication technologies in education", "Higher school pedagogy", "Educational institution management", "Personnel management", "Social work", "Social and psychological rehabilitation", "International relations", "Psychology". In the structure of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy there is a center for learning foreign languages, a Center for polonistics, a center for French-speaking education and culture, and a modern media lab with YouTube channel "My own NULES".
Our faculty will help applicants prepare for the NMT free of charge already from May 9. After all, special courses are organized, and the most active participants will receive a prize!
The guests also heard that the faculty of humanities and pedagogy invites everyone to a master class on writing a motivation letter for admission to a higher education institution. This document will have different weights for applicants to the budget and contract, and our experts will tell everyone how to write it correctly.
Inna Mykolaivna said that our university is very prestigious, because it is among the top three winners of the rating of the capital's higher education institutions, and at the faculty of humanities and pedagogy highly qualified instructors work. Leader of the student organization of the faculty Marharyta Hulyan told about the turbulent and busy life of the community of humanities students.
At the end of the event, guests of the event were invited to view video business cards of the departments included in the structure of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy. Applicants saw and heard about the achievements of students of the faculty, a wide range of scientific circles and sports sections, excellent conditions for studying on campus and recreation in the academic camp.
Summing up the results of this event and answering numerous questions from the guests, the team of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy was very happy to invite applicants to come to study at our Alma mater.
We are all determined to win and look to a bright future. Together - we are strong and will win!
