On September 29, 2023, the masters of the second year of study of the program "Agrochemistry in Precision Agricultural Production" visited the Institute of Water Problems and Land Reclamation of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine as part of the consolidation of practical skills in the discipline "Fertigation and Irrigation".

The students were cordially greeted by Andrii Shatkovskyi, Deputy Director of the Institute, and Serhii Usatyi, Head of the Land Reclamation Department, who introduced them to the methods of testing micro-irrigation equipment for compliance with international and national standards. They told about the regulatory documents governing compliance and testing conditions, testing equipment, safety requirements during testing and qualification of specialists.
The students were shown a mechanical strength test of water outlets, micro-sprinklers, and irrigation pipelines. Where students tested different types of drip tapes for tensile and strength under hydrostatic pressure.
