Results of a scientific internship at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

 During summer time Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Management and Foreign Economic Development Alona Tiurina was working on a scientific topic "Sustainable development of agrarian business (case study Poland)" as a part of an internship at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences at the program of the Polish National Commission for UNESCO. She had the opportunity to study the Polish experience of sustainable development and its implementation to the politics of agricultural companies, to discuss research results with the academic staff of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, visits thematic events and lessons.

Thus, as part of the internship Associate Professor Alona Tiurina took part in different conferences, webinars and seminars which were hold at the university: The 6th edition of the International Scientific Conference "Economic Sciences for Agribusiness and Rural Economy" (ESARE VI) (SGGW, June 13, 2023); final Start-up pitch by FOEB project students (SGGW, June 16, 2023); The 2nd National Scientific Conference “Finance and Economic Security of Poland” (University of Rzeszow, June 19, 2023); The 3rd international scientific conference “Economic and social consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine” (SGGW, June 22, 2023); The 6th International Conference on Marketing Management – MM2023 (SGGW, June 22, 2023); 20th International Scientific Conference “Global Problems of Agriculture and Food Economy” (SGGW, June 29-30, 2023); International scientific conference Factors of economic development with particular emphasis on rural areas” on the occasion of the 70th birthday of Prof. Bogdan Klepacki dr h.c. (SGGW, July 04, 2023); seminar “Preparing applications for research projects” organized by dr. hab. prof. Agata Malak-Rawlikowska.

Possible areas of further cooperation, conducting scientific research and the issue of training students of higher education were discussed with the head of the scholarship dr. hab. Prof. Agata Malak-Rawlikowska, the director of the Institute of Economics and Finance dr hab., Prof. Mariusz Maciejczak, the head of the Department of Economics and Organization of Enterprises dr hab. Prof. Henryk Runowski, academic staff of the Institute of Economics and Finance and dr. Ewa Stawicka from Management Institute of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

Two months of close work with academic staff of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences will contribute to the further development of cooperation and joint scientific research between our universities.
