Student scientific circle "Ozone. Modern syntheses of biologically active substances " of the department of general, organic and physical chemistry is a voluntary scientific association of students, formed for the purpose of organizing and promoting their scientific research and inventive activities.

Head of the student scientific group "Ozone. Modern syntheses of biologically active substances" is a professor of the department of general, organic and physical chemistry Andrii Halstian.

The main tasks of the circle are:

- organization of research, development and invention activities;

- creating conditions for revealing the scientific and creative potential of group members;

- involvement in participation in scientific conferences, seminars, forums, etc.;

- creation of favorable conditions for active involvement of students in scientific activities;

- promoting the expansion of university, regional, all-Ukrainian and international student cooperation in the field of science and innovation;

- promotion of innovative activities of group members.
