Education


In 1999, he graduated with honours from the Tulchyn College of Veterinary Medicine with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and qualified as a veterinary paramedic.
In 1999, he participated in an Olympiad held at the National Agrarian University among college students, where he became the winner and was enrolled in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the National Agrarian University (NAU).
He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of NAU with honours in 2003 and obtained the qualification of ‘Doctor of Veterinary Medicine’.
During his studies at the university, he completed an internship in the United Kingdom and took an active part in the life of the faculty.
From 2003 to October 2006, he was postgraduate student of the department of veterinary sanitation and hygiene of livestock products at NAU.
After completing his postgraduate studies, he worked as an assistant from 2006 to 2008, and from 2008 to 2010, he held the position of senior lecturer at the Department of Technology for Processing and Handling of Livestock Products and Sanitation of Processing Enterprises. From 2010 to 2012, V. Solomon was an associate professor at the Department of Sanitation and Hygiene of Agricultural Processing Enterprises, and from 2012 to March 2020, he was an associate professor at the Department of Animal Hygiene and Sanitation named after Professor A.K. Skorokhodko. Since March 2020, he has been an associate professor at the Department of Veterinary Hygiene named after Professor A.K. Skorokhodko.
From September 2010 to September 2012, V.V. Solomon served as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Food Technology at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
From September 2012 to 2014, he was the head of the small animal clinic at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
Since 2015, he has been acting as the head of the educational, scientific and production Clinical Centre ‘Vetmedservice’ of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.


Dissertation research

In 2007 defended thesis on ‘Clinical and experimental justification for the use of ferum and cobalt glycinates in broiler chickens’ speciality 16.00. 06 – Animal Hygiene and Veterinary Sanitation, Scientific Advisor: Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor D.A. Zaseikin.




Scientific interests

The research focus is on improving the effectiveness of nanotechnology-based disinfectants and the use of premixes of chelate compounds, in particular iron and cobalt glycinates, in animal feed.
He is an expert in disinfection, disinsection and rodent control at veterinary supervision and control facilities.
Field of scientific research: the use of micronutrient chelate compounds in livestock feeding; the development of modern methods for the sanitation of livestock facilities using a new generation of disinfectants.
