That is why, having acquired the status of an associate member of the European Association of veterinary education institutions for the faculty of veterinary education last year during the 38th General Assembly and the right to acquire full membership in 2028, representatives of the faculty of veterinary medicine under the leadership of the dean visited the next General Assembly in order to present the faculty and study the experience of training veterinarians of other faculties of veterinary medicine in Europe on the way to their own accreditation.
During this year's General Assembly, the delegates approved the report of the President of the European Association of higher education institutions in veterinary medicine and the financial plan for the next year, elected representatives of the committees, and also got acquainted with the rich educational program. The latter included issues of the peculiarities of assessing the work of faculties of veterinary medicine, the use of artificial intelligence in education, as well as best practices for ensuring the First Day Competencies, digital tools developed by universities and ways to disseminate them, ways to improve the well-being and self-confidence of students, and many other interesting issues.
On the sidelines of the General Assembly, the delegation of the faculty of veterinary medicine had the opportunity to personally communicate with the heads of faculties in Europe, experts from the European Association, and develop ways to successfully prepare for the next stage of accreditation.
