The Faculty of Agrobiology trains specialists in the field of ‘Agronomy’ and in the following specialisations: ‘Agronomy’, ‘Agrochemistry and Soil Science’, ‘Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Viticulture’, and ‘Plant Breeding and Genetics’. The Faculty has introduced a tiered education system comprising two levels:

Level 1 – completion of a basic higher education programme leading to a ‘Bachelor’s’ degree (duration: 4 years). For those entering the programme with a Junior Specialist qualification, the course is completed in a shorter period (2 years (1 year and 8 months) for full-time study and 3 years for part-time study).

Level 2 – completion of a full higher education programme leading to a ‘Master’s’ degree (1.5 years for full-time study and 2 years for part-time study, respectively). Prospective students can look forward to unique Master’s programmes, which are available exclusively at our university’s Faculty of Agrobiology.
