Honored workman of Agriculture.

In 1976, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Animal Engineering of the Kamianets-Podilsky Institute. From 1976 to 1980, he worked as the director of the Markeevo livestock farm of the M.F. Ivanov Steppe Regions Animal Husbandry Institute "Askania-Nova". Deputy director, director of the M.F. Ivanov Steppe Regions Animal Husbandry Institute "Askania-Nova" (1992-2001). He defended his candidate and doctoral dissertations in 1992 and 2005. From 2001 to 2004, he was the head of the department of production technology and processing of sheep products of the Askania-Nova Institute. From 2005 to 2006, he was the director of the Research Institute of Technologies and Quality of Animal Husbandry and Fish Products of the National Agrarian University. He has been working at the department since 2004.

He has published over 200 scientific papers, including 14 textbooks and methodological developments, 4 monographs, has 25 copyright certificates and patents of Ukraine for inventions. He is one of the authors of the creation of two domestic breeds of sheep: the Askaniy meat-wool and the Askaniy Karakul.

Scientific interests

The main direction of scientific activity: improves and develops technological systems for the production and processing of sheep and goat products, studies the minimization of energy consumption based on the principles of closed cycles.
