Per Aspera ad astra: Natalia RUDNYTSKA is awarded the Order of the French Republic
On April 21, at the French Embassy in Ukraine, His Excellency Mr. Gael Vesier, Ambassador of France to Ukraine, awarded Natalia Anatoliivna RUDNYTSKA, a lecturer of the department of foreign philology and translation of the NUBIP of Ukraine, with the Order of Chevalier d'agriculture.
The leadership of the French Republic recognized our colleague and her 30-year work as worthy of such a high award. In her thank-you speech, Natalia RUDNYTSKA said, «This order is a great honor and distinction not only for my work as a translator in many missions and educational projects of the French Embassy in Ukraine, but also for 30 years of teaching as a French language teacher in NUBiP of Ukraine, and therefore for the foreign language training of students who are now successfully working at the International and national levels for the development of Ukraine and France.

This is, first of all, a distinction between the work of a large French-Ukrainian team of the:
-
management of NUBIP of Ukraine, represented by the rector Vadym TKACHUK, who since 1996 has started a partnership with the French Association «Friendship Without Borders» headed by Marie-Claude PICOT with the support of the Council of the Department of De Sevres under the leadership of Anik LAPAR. They were joined in a row by the Federation «Exchanges France — Ukraine», thanks to which more than 450 Ukrainian students were able to complete agricultural and professional internships in France, and French students, in their turn, interned in Ukraine;
-
since 2005, the «French Without Borders» Association has been headed by Benjamin BECKNER; numerous conferences, round tables and annual summer schools of the French language were organized;
-
close cooperation has been established between NUBiP and the state institution «RMC "Agroosvita"», represented by the director Tetyana Demyanivna ISHCHENKO who built strategies for the development of Franco-Ukrainian relations in the field of dual agricultural education;
-
Agricultural attache Henri BARNABEAU, Nicolas PEREN, Dorian DENIER, and now already Jean LENOT, Scientific Attache Serge BELINI and Silven RIGOLLE, Monique MONTAGNE, project managers for French Language teachers, and their close cooperation with the scientific community of NUBiP of Ukraine, and representatives of the agricultural business of the two countries;
-
work over and defense of the dissertation by Natalia RUDNYTSKA under the supervision of Professor Svitlana AMELINA allowed to implement elements of professionalization of French engineering education in the educational process of Ukrainian universities;
-
with the support of the French Embassy in Ukraine, as well as representatives of FAO and the EU, and teachers from European higher education institutions, the Center for Francophone Education and Culture was opened on November 6, 2018;
-
constant help from family and friends who believed in our success at the same time!

It is especially symbolic for me that this honorary award is associated with the sphere that embodies nature and its life-giving activities, its development, responsibility to society and respect for the earth as a source of life and future.
Through this distinction, the French Republic shows not only a tradition of honoring merit, but also loyalty to the ideals of enlightenment, solidarity and public good.
At a time of great trials, Ukraine is particularly valuable for the support and friendship of France, its consistent solidarity with the Ukrainian people and commitment to the principles of freedom, dignity and international partnership.
Please, accept this gratitude as a sign of my deep respect for the French Republic and appreciation for this high honor. Accepting this distinction, I also perceive it as a moral obligation to continue serving the principles that it embodies.»
