NUBiP of Ukraine confidently holds its position in the rating according to the indicators of the Scopus 2026 database

Based on the results of the annual scientometric monitoring published by the portal Osvita.uа in April 2026, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine took the 22nd place among higher educational institutions of the country in the ranking according to the indicators of the International bibliographic database SciVerse Scopus.

The rating is compiled on the basis of the Hirsch index, a quantitative indicator that simultaneously reflects the number of scientific publications of the institution and the level of their citation in the world scientific community. This year, the NUBiP Hirsch index of Ukraine is 55, which is 4 points lower compared to 2025 (51). The Scopus database covers more than 30 thousand scientific publications in the fields of technical, medical and humanitarian sciences, and being included in its list is in itself evidence of the quality of scientific activity.

In total, NUBiP of Ukraine is represented in the database by 5,549 scientific publications, which have received more than 30,847 citations from scientists around the world. These figures demonstrate not only the volume of scientific work of the university, but also its real impact on the development of international science — in particular in the fields of bioresources, agronomy, ecology, veterinary medicine and related industries.

NUBiP of Ukraine continues to increase its scientific presence in the global space — and the results of the Scopus 2026 rating are another confirmation that the university is moving in the right direction.
