Recognition of scientific achievements: final of the All-Ukrainian competition "Preservation of soil fertility"

According to the results of the second round of the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Professional Creative Competition "Preservation of soil fertility", the scientific community noted the best research aimed at sustainable development of the agricultural sector and the introduction of innovative agricultural technologies.

Particular attention of the expert commission was drawn to the work devoted to topical issues of agrochemistry and plant physiology - "Optimization of nitrogen nutrition of feed beans as a factor in increasing their productivity". The authors of the study, Thoryk Lyubov Oleksandrivna and Shkapa Anna Ihorivna, under the guidance of leading scientists — Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Tonkha Oksana Leonidivna and Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Bohdanovych Rostyslav Petrovych, conducted comprehensive research on how with the help of feed beans it is possible to promote the preservation of soil fertility.

In modern conditions of transformation of agriculture, fodder beans are considered as a strategic crop, which additionally contributes to the accumulation of biological nitrogen in the soil. However, the realization of the genetic potential of crop yield directly depends on the balance of the nutrition system.

According to the results of the competition, the report of Liubov THORYK was marked by a high level of scientific argumentation and practical significance of the data obtained. According to the decision of the branch competition commission, the author's team consisting of Lyubov THORIK and Anna SHKAP was awarded a Diploma of the III degree.
