Rector of NUBiP of Ukraine Vadym TKACHUK takes part in the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Estonian universities

A Ukrainian delegation is visiting Estonian universities in Tallinn and Tartu on September 21-26. The delegation of representatives of the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine headed by Deputy Minister Mykola TROFYMENKO and heads of Ukrainian higher education institutions includes the rector of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine Vadym TKACHUK.

The program of the visit includes a series of meetings with leaders and representatives of leading universities and scientific institutions of Estonia, discussion of issues of university management and development, international cooperation, scientific activities and opportunities for further interaction between Ukrainian and Estonian higher education institutions.

Today, the Ukrainian delegation is visiting the parliament and the Estonian Academy of Sciences, where it is planned to discuss the reform of the Academy of Sciences and universities, as well as the institutional logic of organizing research in Estonia.

Then the participants of the visit will work at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) and Tallinn University. The program includes presentations of Ukrainian universities, informal discussions on the management and management of higher education institutions, as well as a joint seminar on the reform of university governance in Ukraine.

On September 24, the delegation will travel to Tartu, where meetings will be held at the University of Tartu and the Estonian University of life sciences. Participants will discuss issues regarding university governance and management. It is planned, in particular, to discuss the legal restructuring of the University, strategic and operational financial management, as well as institutional support for the preparing the applications for projects of the European Union.

At the end of the visit, the delegation will meet with the Estonian Research Council (ETAg) and hold a final session on the possibilities of developing cooperation between Estonia and Ukraine in higher education with the participation of representatives of ETag, the Estonian Ministry of education and research and universities.
