NUBiP of Ukraine is the second in the state according to the results of certification of scientific activities

On November 12, 2025 in UNIT.City hosted a solemn event dedicated to the World Science Day. It was attended by Rector Vadym TKACHUK and vice-rector for research and innovation Oksana TONKHA.

World Science Day 2025: Ukraine — it was a strategic meeting of the community that shapes the future of Ukrainian science. The event brought together leaders of state policy, scientific institutions, universities, business and international partners, councils of young scientists, where they summed up key reforms, awarded young scientists and identified common priorities for investment in science and innovation, creating conditions for scaling the development of young scientists.

Within the framework of the event, certificates of preliminary certification of scientific activity in two areas — «Biomedical» and «Humanitarian and artistic», were awarded. The National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine received a certificate of Category "B" in the humanities and arts. To the rector Vadym TKACHUK it was presented by the deputy minister of education and science of Ukraine Denys KURBATOV.

It was also a pleasure to present awards to the most effective institutions of higher education. So, according to the results of certification of scientific activity in six areas, NUBiP of Ukraine received three awards "A" and one "B " and became the second in the state in terms of these indicators. This result is the merit of the entire research and teaching staff, awareness of the importance of science and research in higher education, and another confirmation of the status of a research university.

The university management also took part in the VI international forum of councils of young scientists «Science without borders» which was held today as part of the World Science Day. Discussion panels devoted to financial support for the development of science and education, creating prospects for the development of young scientists gathered experts, scientists, people's deputies of Ukraine, employees of the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine, heads of higher education institutions and others.
